What shoes shall I wear on New Years Eve. I am going to a club, does it matter?


Of course it matters. Doormen judge you on your shoes! It matters a whole lot. Without seeing your shoe/outfits options this is somewhat difficult so I will try and stick to basics.


Wearing Jeans: Black Jeans - Brown Shoes. Dark Indigo/Rinse Jeans: Tan Shoes (any of the smarter styles discussed in this blog will be suitable


Wearing Chinos/Khakis: Camel - Tan/Brown Oxfords, or Tasselled Loafers would be a winner


Wearing a suit: Kudos to you first and foremost, then throw on a single monkstrap and look fresh to death!


Wearing Joggers: Don't.


AND lest we forget all socks you have to consider... TAKE YOU PICK!

My Golden Jubilee

So that last post was my 50th. And along with that milestone, the last two posts have seen us break 10,000 views from over 50 countries. Small change to some, but seeing that this was a figment of my imagination 9 months ago we've given birth to something special!

Brogues Brothers

Stumbled across this pic today (thanks @ParkandBond) 

It's made me think of all the things I have which several other people also have. Like brown brogues. Does it matter? Nope! Why you ask? Well simply because you wear the shoe. The shoe does not wear you. So. Change the laces perhaps, lace them YOUR way, wear cool socks maybe? The possibilities are plentiful!

Kendrick Lamar does Adidas Originals Boots Collection

If a picture says 1000 words, a short video on you tube can save me a couple of hours on photoshop. Look out for Kendrick Lamar, he's meant to be one of the hottest MC's to come out of New York this year. This vid for me has memories of getting the M60 bus across NY to La Guardia with a broken bottle of vodka that was procured from duty free! Oh and Adidas' new Original Boots collection of course!
